The Museum of the American Cocktail™
to Stir Things Up in New York & Las Vegas!
New York - February 23, 2006: The Museum of the American Cocktail will open its new exhibits this March in both New York and Las Vegas! The Las Vegas exhibit will open at Commander’s Palace, Las Vegas, inside the Aladdin Hotel March 5th― 8th, during the Las Vegas Nightclub & Bar Show. Don’t miss our FREE cocktail presentation featuring master mixologists Dale DeGroff and Francesco LaFranconi at 10:30 am on March 8th. Enjoy cocktails, hors d oeuvres, and meet the authors while viewing two hundred years of fascinating cocktail history and memorabilia!
The New York exhibit will also open in March at BALANCE, 215 West 28th Street, New York City. MOTAC-NY and the lounge at Balance will be dedicated to presenting classic cocktails and innovations by well-known mixologists. The exhibit will be open days by appointment only. At night, Balance will offer historically significant drinks as well as modern cocktails created by noted mixologists.

COCKTAIL 200™ coming May13, 2006! A celebration of the cocktail's 200th birthday will be held in both New York and Las Vegas featuring the First Annual American Cocktail Awards™ at the Aladdin Hotel, just steps from the Museum of the American Cocktail's new exhibit at Commander’s Palace Las Vegas. TALES OF THE COCKTAIL returns to New Orleans July 19-23, 2006.
